Book Marketing Plan

Make your Book Marketing Plan work for you
by giving you a DIRECT CONNECT
with your potential fans.

A good plan for marketing your book can be a self-fulfilling prophesy if you follow basic instructions:

  • Include all forms of media, but place your money, time and effort on the ones that will give you the best opportunity for making a DIRECT CONNECT with your potential readers:
    • Radio
    • Television
    • Print
    • Websites
    • Blogs
    • Affiliate Programs
    • Advertising
    • Book Clubs
    • Book Vendors
    • Bookstore placement
    • Organized Publicity (bookstore signings, appearances, events, etc.)

  • Online book sales are hot. Develop a website specifically for that book, and then build on content. In fact, the only marketing plan you may ever need may be that website blueprint. If I were to guess which part of your campaign would be most effective and give you the results you're looking for in order to 1)establish your name as a writer, and 2)attract returning customers, I would suggest that you place the greater part of your marketing energy on developing that website.

Build your website with SBI!

Today, the best low cost DIRECT CONNECT happens on the Internet!

You are your own best book marketer and your marketing
plan will focus on supplying your potential readers with your
books and articles.

You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.
--Ray Bradbury

Your goal is to build a large community of fans… returning readers who will keep buying your books and seeking you out wherever they can find your articles, books and other people's interviews and reviews of your works.

The marketing plan for your book should focus on creating this DIRECT CONNECT ON THE INTERNET. It is much easier than you think!

I would love to show you how to develop your DIRECT CONNECT marketing plan—how to keep it simple, low-cost and targeted on you and your professional writing career.
